Wow, I am really mad

Well, today was supposed to be my happy day. The day that I got my Xbox 360 back. All day long I checked my tracking number to see if it had been delivered. Finally, about 12:30 p.m., it was delivered to my house. I couldn't wait to go home for lunch. My husband left it unopened so I could take it out and hook it up. I played Guitar Hero III for about 10 minutes, added some time to my Live account, then passed it over to my husband. He starts playing Halo 3 on Xbox Live. He gets only a few seconds into the match and then the console freezes. We turn it off for about a minute, turn it back on and it does nothing. The green power indicator was on, but the green rings weren't and the screen was black.

We try this a few times, then I finally call the Xbox support line. First time I called, I ended up getting hung up on. The second time I called, I finally got someone on the line. It took me about 10 minutes to get the guy to understand that I had only gotten my box back from the repair center about an hour earlier and what was going on with it. Once I finally got him to understand, we started going through some trouble shooting. He had me do maintance on my hard drive. That didn't work. Since the problem started while we were playing Halo 3, he had me put Guitar Hero in, even worse problems. The Xbox then got the red ring of death again.

So, I'm having another box shipped to me. This time, the box is going to be bigger. I now have to send the power block along with the Xbox. I don't quite understand how it is the power block because the light is showing green when the Xbox is on. It's going to take the same amount of time to get it fixed.

When this happened, I could have exploded with anger. If the next one doesn't work, then they expedite the process. So, I'm going to be crazy with boredom for another two or three weeks. I guess I'll keep myself busy watching seasons for Family Guy.
