Whoa!  Are you kidding me?!

So, I got an early Christmas present last night, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.

I played it for at least four or five hours last night. The game was on easy, and for the most part, it was.... That is until I get to the "Battle for Your Soul" tour. The first song in that stage is Raining Blood by Slayer.

I start playing the new song. At first, everything seemed ok, just very long notes. Then it starts going crazy. I was thinking, "Whoa! Are you kidding me?! All the songs before this were simple, now you give me this crazy crap from nowhere?!"

At the beginning of my first attempt I was doing ok, but things started going horribly bad. I just started pressing random notes whenever I wanted and then quickly failed the song.

After I failed the song I had to go practice it on slow. I started out on slowest, then slower, then slow and finally I started practicing it on full speed. After a while of practicing it though, I finally decided to go to bed. By that time, my knuckles were killing me as well as my fore-arms. They are still hurting pretty bad this morning, but I will probably end up playing the game when I go home for my lunch break.

Guitar Hero III is a freaking awesome game. It seems you can find the full version for the PS2 (by full I mean with the new Gibson Les Paul controler) and I think I saw it for the Wii as well. I think everyone is sold out of the full version for the Xbox 360 and PS3. If you can't, don't forget you can just buy the any of the previous game version controls and Guitar Hero III separately. That's what my husband had to do. I have the Gibson X-Plorer, only licensed to Xbox 360, model from Guitar Hero II. I believe the Gibson SG was licensed to PS2.

Also, one more thing I forgot to mention... You can download the Halo 2 theme song!!! That is freaking awesome!!!! I'm pretty sure you can only download that on the Xbox 360 version though.
