What’s Going On!

Okay, okay...I lied. Quite unintentionally, but nontheless, my big lie was broadcast all across our area.

I said in yesterday's "Things To Do"..."It's going to be a GOOOORGEOUS weekend, no matter where you live here!" And, well, that's debatable.

My good meteorologist friends say it will be in the 60's, but with rain. I thought it was going to be in the 70's, with no rain. But that's today, not tomorrow.

So my deepest apologies. I guess that's what I get for snoozing during the weather segment. Just kidding, of course (kind of). Just be sure to listen to the real weather pros. I don't know what I'm talking about when it comes to weather.

But I DO know what I'm talking about when it comes to this weekend's events! Here's some of what's goin' on:

1: The Oyster Festvial at Liberty's Steakhouse (Broadway at the Beach).
-Get you some oysters and good music, great for the whole family, too!
--Saturday, 12 - 4.

2: Kenny Rogers at the Alabama Theatre in Myrlte Beach.
--Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
--Call 'em for ticket info: 272-1111.

3: The Odd Couple Play at Florence Little Theatre.
--Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
--I loved watching Oscar and Felix growing up--wish I could make it out for this, but I can't.

4: Music and a Car Show at Cooter's Backyard Bar and Grill.
--Sunday until 4:00.
--Cecil Chandler's going to be there, playing all your favorite songs!
--Murrells Inlet
