What Lincoln is Thinkin’ - Wednesday at Darlington
What Lincoln is Thinkin' - Wednesday at the TrackWednesday was a gorgeous weather day at Darlington, but it was a dead day in terms of on the track action. Most of the teams aren't arriving until tomorrow at the earliest, so today was definitely the calm before the storm. I just hope that storm is just the amount of people, and not actual bad weather.
There are plenty of fans here all ready, that is for sure. And of course each mobile home is trying to outdo each other. The best so far is Page Burns from Little River - she has the little plastic blowup pool, with the blowup alligator to go with it.
Also today, met up with our own little NASCAR genius. 5 year old Adam Mays of Florence is an expert at everything NASCAR, as long as it happened in his lifetime. He's a funny little kid too.... as I was ending the interview, he said "Wait one more thing... .J.J. Yeley drives the DLP Instruments number 96!". Totally random, but impressive for a kindergardener.
Tomorrow it's going to get exciting though - Dale Earnhardt Jr. meets with the media at 5:30. Let the circus begin.

The NASCAR Car Hauler Parade that was held Wednesday evening was very disappointing. I expected to a a large number of the big name drivers car haulers in the parade, as it turned out there were only 4, Dale Earnhardt Jr, Jeff Burton, Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle. What is up with that?
