Driver Terrific 13 - After Fontana1. Kyle Busch Last Week: (3) Ky does not have a finish outside of the top 4 in the first six races of the year - Sprint, Nationwide and Craftsman. The newest addition to the Gibbs arsenal is on fire - plus he has the Sprint Cup points lead through two weeks.
2. Tony Stewart (1) Stewart was quiet for the most part in Fontana, but still finished in the top 10.
3. Ryan Newman (2) Dodges didn't rule Fontana as much as they ruled Daytona, but Newman still had a good run, and finished 10th.
4. Jimmie Johnson (5) Great run at Fontana, just not as fast as Edwards.
5. Jeff Gordon (7) Both Gordon and JJ picked up the pieces from a disappointing Daytona to have great runs in California. They'll keep moving up the charts all year.
6. Carl Edwards (NR) Had a dominating car in Fontana, and carried the torch for Ford.
7. Kurt Busch (4) In Daytona he finished 41 spots better than his starting position, in Fontana, 23 spots better. The Miller Lite team needs to get that car ready for Friday.
8. Matt Kenseth (10) Typical Matt Kenseth on Monday - solid run, stayed near the front, and finished 5th.
9. Kevin Harvick (9) We talk about teamwork, and how the Hendrick, Gibbs, and Penske guys work together during the race all the time. But why do the RCR cars seem to never be together during the important parts of races?
10. Kasey Kahne (12) After last season's disaster, Kahne must be ecstatic to start out this year with two straight top 10's.
11. Dale Earnhardt Jr. (6) Different day, same result for Junior - in the first part of the Auto Club 500 he was involved with a wreck, on Monday he lost a tire. 40th finish drops him like a rock in the standings.
12. Jeff Burton (11) Another solid, yet uninspiring run for the 31 Chevrolet
13. Greg Biffle (NR) Three Fords, five Chevys, three Dodges, and two Toyotas in the Terrific 13 - a pretty good mix.
