You guys do a great job of covering football and basketball. Would love to see you take a trip to Chesterfield County. Dylan Owens of Chesterfield and Francis Marion is now pitching in the minor leagues.  Chesterfield won a state championship in football with Steve Tanneyhill coaching.  Quite an accomplishment is you knew our football history.
Also, the wrestling team has won three state championships.  The Ram grapplers are regarded as one the best teams in the Southeast. Two kids going on scholarships this year.
Cheraw football team with another championship plus their wrestling team is regarded as one of the best in the state.

Well not bad but im not so sold on Myrtle Beach just yet. I know they got a nice squad but Latta have the best player in the state in Ruby Lee. Her scoring is down a bit do to the teamwork she displayin. Can’t wait til the showdown in the lower state game with CE Murray maybe. Latta girls are a solid case closed(smile).

Mr. Mookie -

We gave Dylan lots of love while he was pitching at FMU and we’re fully aware of his success with the Brooklyn Cyclones.  In fact, you may remember, we had an interview with him the day before the MLB Draft.

While we did not air too many of the Chesterfield regular season football games, we were there when they won their state championship.

As for Cheraw football, we were there for almost every game they played this season.  (Except for their loss to Chesterfield, when our photographer got lost trying to get to Cheraw.  True story.)

It’s difficult because of location to get up to many of the basketball games, but tune in next week… the plan is to get out to Cheraw, Chesterfield and Central at some point.

Thanks for watching.

I think that Lake City gils should of had been in the playoffs, rather than Wilson girls. Because Lake City had a better team. Exspecially Shaquetta Cooper. Lake City vs. Myrtle Beach which would of had been a better match up ain’t no telling who would of had win. Shaquetta is one of the best in the state, I would say she is rank in my top five, in balling wise, because she plays like an man, not being funny or nothing. But I see she was sick some games she couldn’t get it done. I hope she would make a good commitment to those colleges later on, because I know that they are going to be coming after her, and I hope she would make a good choice. Also I hope she would get selected to play in the North and South game because if her and Rubylee Wright put together no one in the North can’t stop them, “because they both plays like mens”. Then I can’t forget that best defense of player at Lake City, Shandrekia Spates, alsome defense. I hope she get selected too because last year the South didn’t have no defense like she do.(Shaquetta and Shanderika if you’ll read this I hope you’ll select a good college, like Rubylee).
