What Lincoln is Thinkin’ - 1-14 Boys Terrific 13

Boys Hoops Terrific 13
Week of 1-14

1. Mullins Aucs are still undefeated, and manhandled the second best team in the their region (Dillon) by 21.
2. Central Eagles are 15-2, destroyed Buford, and are looking to take down reigning state champion Lee Central on Tuesday.
3. Marlboro County The surprising Bulldogs toppled Darlington and Hartsville two games in a row, but are a step behind region leader Crestwood.
4. Dillon Wildcats hoped they could prove they could hang with Mullins. 101-80 final score proves otherwise.
5. Hemingway The Tigers will roll through region play undefeated.
6. Myrtle Beach Definitely playing the best ball in what was supposed to be a highly contested AAA Region VI.
7. South Florence The Bruins have lost two of their last three, losing the luster of their 10-1 start.
8. Darlington Kiara Douglas is the best player in the region, but the Falcons need some better showings to prove they're the best team.
9. Timmonsville If it wasn't for South Florence, the 9-3 Whirlwinds would be 9-1.
10. Georgetown Bulldogs need to use last week's loss to Myrtle Beach as a wakeup call.
11. Hartsville Red Foxes a shadow of their former selves without Jordan Lyles.
12. Kingstree The Jags defeat of Marion makes them the third best team in AA Region VII, for now.
13. Socastee Braves beating North Myrtle was a great win - they don't have a lot of talent, but it's not over till it's over in AAA Region VI.

What do you think about this week's rankings? Tell me here!

Questioin… How is Hemingway ranked ahead of Marlboro County. MC beat Hemingway 81-67 in the Carolina Classic. Hemingway also lost to SFlorence as well in the Classic

Good Question Mr. Johnson.

My sources had Hemingway as undefeated, which after talking to Coach McFadden I’ve confirmed that you are correct sir.

Changes have been made.

This terrific 13 does not reflect results of January 15th’s games… with Marlboro and South Florence losing, next week’s should change some more.

Hartsville is more than just Jordan Lyles.

Hartsville struggled mightily following his loss, I think they took a major step in showing they can win without him by beating South Florence last night.

Hartsville would have lost the games in the Chick-Fil-A and Beach Ball with or without Lyles.  SC teams can’t compete with the nations best in hoops.

All I gotta say is Dillon should be atleast #3 from a record stand point. MC is kinda over rated to a certain point. Also I read where you said Hemingway will roll through the conference umm.. Please check with the score the other night against the new Latta Vikings(smile).

The Fantastic Four of Seqwan McFarland, Stacy Wilson, Eric Smith, and Andrew Crawford help to perch Mullins as the top team in the area. That ranking shouldn’t change.
Dillon might need to moved up a notch, since the squad’s only losses were against an unbeaten team. Shay Page and Alyn “Buddah” McRae provide scoring punch, while the emergence of Quinn McCollum and Lorenzo “Pops” Allen solidfy them as contenders.
Who do think have the best chances of making it to Columbia from the viewing area?

Yo Naeem you are right about Mullins. They are the best/most ready team to go to columbia. Im a Dillon fan but Mullins have a better coached team with added weapons. Deep down inside of me tells me Dillon will get Mullins when it hurts(lower state).
