What Lincoln is Thinkin’ - What to watch for on moving day
What Lincoln is Thinkin' - What to watch for on moving dayWho will make a move on moving day?
13 of the top 15 ranked players in the world are -2 or better going into this weekend. (The only ones who aren't, Robert Karlsson (MC) and Paul Casey (E)) So there are plenty of players that can put together great rounds to catch Kenny Perry and Chad Campbell. Phil Mickelson and Geoff Ogilvy are paired together today, and they both have the games to have great rounds on Saturday.
Will scores get even lower?
That's going to depend on the Masters committee. The weather should be gorgeous (even more ideal than Thursday) so the course should be very welcoming. However, expect there to be some much tougher pin placements, and the tees should be farther back, to decrease the birdies. I don't think the winning score will reach -15, even though the leaders are at -9.
Can Campbell and Perry hold on?
Campbell matched his great round on Thursday with a decent round on Friday. He's won some big tournaments, The Tour Championship and The Hope, even though he hasn't won a major title. With so many great golfers nipping at his heels, I can't believe he can hold on. KP is a different story. Perry has said over and over again that he's playing with house money, and that he has nothing to prove in his career. His Ryder Cup last year was his big accomplishment. Now, as much as he wants to beat these guys, he's not going to be nervous for the next two rounds. He definitely has a chance for a green jacket.
What about Dustin?
Tougher pin placements will make it tougher for Dustin to be so aggressive on Saturday. We'll see exactly how it affects him. He tees off at 12:55 with Sandy Lyle, he plays in front of Tiger's group.
Who do you think will be leading after today
