Under the Sun: Pixar’s uplifting new film

I thoroughly enjoyed “Up,” Pixar’s newest film.

It started out, as always, with one of Pixar’s short films. This one, “Partly Cloudy,” might be one of my favorites. I need to see it again to be sure, though. It’s definitely up there with “Knick Knack” and “For the Birds.”

It’s got it all — comedy, drama, action and romance. Not to mention talking dogs.

The music was really good, too. It was written by Michael Giacchino, who also wrote music for “Alias,” “Lost” and the “Star Trek” reboot.

“Up” is worth the price of a movie ticket.
