Time to give Bowyer his due
When will Clint Bowyer start getting some respect?I mean the Richard Childress Racing driver has made the Chase two straight years and is in second in points far this season.
Yet most of what’s written is about Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart and Jeff Gordon. And rightfully so, those guys have star power both on and off the track.
Bowyer, however, shouldn’t be overlooked. I’m not saying he is going to win a championship this season but I wouldn’t be surprised he has one in the next five years.
He’s got the all the ingredients, such a strong team, crew and driving skills, to be contender year after year.
It’s just a matter of time before people take notice.
