Tiger or the field?
It’s a question that is out there every time Tiger Woods tees off in a golf tournament Take Tiger of take the field.It’s a tough one that’s for sure.
One one hand you get Woods, the World’s No.1 who will finish as the best golfer who ever lived if he hasn’t done that already.
Woods wins almost 30 percent of the tournament he has entered in his career and has one three out of his four tourneys this year.
About the only reason you could think not to pick him is he has only won once at Augusta since 2003.
If you don’t take Tiger, you get the 89 other golfers in the field including the likes of Phil Mickelson, Ernie Els, Vijay Singh and Jim Furyk, who always plays well in majors.
You also have Padraig Harrington, Fred Couples or maybe it will be an unknown emerging like Zach Johnson did last year.
So there are arguments for either but give me Woods, he is as close as you can get to a sure thing.
