They gave me a brand new Xbox 360

If you read my blog yesterday, you already know that I was expecting my Xbox 360 to come back from being repaired today. Well, I got a Xbox back, but it wasn't my original, which is perfectly fine with me.

I posted a picture of the paint job on one of my previous blogs. It took me eight hours to take the casing off, sand, paint, dry and put the casing back on. I guess you could say that it is now eight hours down the tube, but I don't really care. A lot of people have asked me if I was going to paint it again. I have no desire to do that. I'm happy with the clean, white box (the Elite would be equally satisfying, though). I just wish they would have sent the custom casing back to me. I did really like it.

Anyway though, the new Xbox works perfectly. I played two games of Guitar Hero III and a round of Halo 3 while I was on my lunch break. The last I checked with my brother-in-law, it is still working properly.

I'm just happy it's all over with. It's just a big hassle to go through, weather it's the first or second repair. I just hope I don't have to go through this again.

If anyone wants to play some Halo 3 or Guitar Hero III on Xbox Live, my gamertag is brokendownangel.

Janet!  Glad to know your checking out the blog!  Have you been able to play online with anyone on Guitar Hero III?  I keep trying to connect to a game and it either sits there for 10 minutes or it kicks me out.  I’ll add you.  I’ll probably be online everyday this week, lol.

Oh yeah, I’m not too good at it either.  What level do you play at?  I’ve been playing on medium, but I’m a little rusty since I haven’t had my Xbox in over a month.
