There WAS snow in Florence!
Contrary to popular belief there was some snow in Florence on Monday, March 2, 2009. I was tasked with trying to find some weather photos. Myself and the majority of the Pee Dee expected to see some snow but it didnt' happen. I drove around early trying to find some type of cold weather picture, since I thought there was no snow unitl I spotted a car covered in snow on North Irby Street in Florence. I promise this is a real picture, and I had to do a double-take to make sure I wasn't seeing things. Upon further investigation this car had a North Carolina license plate and I am assuming that it had just come from there, where there was actual snow. One of the things I love about my job is that I never know for sure what I'll see. This was definitely the case. Enjoy!
