The SC Chamber of Commerce Annual Summit Banquet

The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce is holding its 28th Annual Summit. Business leaders from across the state have converged in Myrtle Beach to discuss ways to recruit more business and industry, increase tourism, make the state more prosperous and achieve global competitiveness. The summit banquet is Thursday night at Marina Inn at Grande Dunes. Once again, I have the honor of emceeing. I am really looking forward to it. The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce is the state's oldest and largest organization dedicated to supporting business and industry in the state, large and small, and taking their concerns to government leaders. In addition to chamber members attending, state and local elected officials will also be there including Upstate Senator Harvey Peeler, the 2007 Public Servant of the Year. The Chamber will also recognize the state's 25 Fastest Growing Companies. And I am not alone in representing News13 at the banquet, our very own Michelle Carolla, is singing the National Anthem and Invocation. It shoudl be a night to remember and I'm looking forward to being a part of it, and supporting the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce.
