You really need to stop!Yes, I’m talking about you, North Carolina basketball fan. Stop the man-crush on Tyler Hansbrough, please.
For starters, he’s the most overrated player in the country. He wouldn’t even be a starter on most Big East or Big 12 teams. He’s not a good defender, but you consider him a god.
Beware of false idols. What makes it even worse is that ESPN and the ACC has joined you in hailing him as the “Great White Hope.” If you called him the “Great White Hype,” I might believe it.
The Big Dance starts Thursday, and I hope UNC gets knocked off in the second round so I don’t have to hear about him anymore. He won’t get the garbage calls he’s gotten all year in Almost a College Conference. Dajuan Blair and Hasheem Thabeet would leave him a bloody mess and Mr. Hansbrough will be crying about calls he isn’t getting along the rest of you.
You guys will finally get to feel what Duke fans felt when their “Great White Hype” got pushed around by LSU and Connecticut in consecutive NCAA tournaments. Yes, I’m talking about J.J. Redick (who gets very little playing time in Orlando, or wherever he’s playing).

come on shawn stop gassin’ over tyler,the guy is soon to be the acc scoring champ- you dont get that being underrated.and for j.j. he is doing well right now for OMagic,he didnt get to play off the jump ‘cause he accomplished while playing for DUKE - haters(like you)in Orlando kept this guy from instantly destroying the 3 zone in the NBA…they were wrong,it wasnt like OMagic was winning at the time, and now they need him…..take some time and watch these games rather than listen to DUKE/HEELS haters in the barber shop.
