South needs Gregory

If you had to question Dishone Gregory's value to the South Florence basketball team, all you had to do was watch Tuesday's game against Conway.
Gregory, one of the top scorers in the Pee Dee, had to miss the first half because of disciplinary reasons.
With Gregory sitting out, the Bruins struggled to a 18-16 lead against a one-win Conway team.
When Gregory came back in the second half, the Bruins played with purpose and everyone around him seemed to pick up their efforts around him.
The Bruins will definitely need that intensity Friday when they play rival West Florence, who beat the Bruins 43-35 in the first meeting. South-West is always a close game and this year's second meeting will be no different.
