SCISA State Tournament

Big congrats to all the local teams we had make it to the SCISA state semifinals.

For the second year in a row, both the Trinity Collegiate and Pee Dee Academy girls made the final four.

Trinity fell to perhaps the best team in Class 2A in Bible Baptist while Pee Dee lost to Thomas Sumter. Both squads had their chances, but came up a little short this year. But David Recor and Jerry Coleman have turned them both into great programs.

The Byrnes Schools boys made a late playoff push this year and probably got farther than a lot of people thought they would. Coach Smith has done a great job in his first season. It's a shame they lose three seniors. It would have been interesting to see what they could have done with everyone back next year.
