I will not leave the house with out my 9mm. I personally believe that proper use of a firearm should be taught in high school. Every law abiding citizen should be required to carry a pistol on their hip. No concealment. Old west style.

Body counts would be significantly reduced.

So more people carrying guns is the solution to the number of shootings we are seeing happen around the country? Sorry but that just makes no sense to me.
Teaching “proper use of a firearm” in high school is an important addition to curriculum in a society where only the rich get a good education and the poor get little or none. Schools are failing, our health care system is failing, and heads up folks the economy is about to fall out from under us… and carrying guns will solve these problems??? I don’t think so…

Well, let me put it like this. I don’t have a problem. My wife does not have a problem.  Change starts with the individual. My household has made a change. What were doing damn sure ain’t working. What would you suggest? We walk around handing out daisies to all the bad guys. They out number us. They have more firepower.
The rich get richer. Is this Hillary? My son grew up in the Chesterfield school district. Graduated C’field. Graduated The Citadel. Doing quite well. Trust me. We are far, far from rich. It’s there for the taking. It’s people like you that are too lazy to go get it that are the problem. One step further. I’m all for mandatory 2 years active military service after high school or college.

Sounds like you have real social anxiety, I had gone thru this myself for a while, the best thing is to discuss with your doctor. They may be able to help you be more at ease, either thru therapy or thru medication.
