New perspective on the DMV

Just this week I made a trip to the Department of Motor Vehicles. Most people cringe at the thought of going to the DMV. I have to admit, I was dreading it too. Just the thought of long lines, unhappy people, and the unflattering drivers’ license picture is enough to make you cringe. However, I'd like to think I'm generally a very positive person, so with that mentality I headed to the DMV Thursday morning. My thought process was "prepare for the worst, and hope for the best." Well, guess what folks? The best is what happened. Everyone at the DMV on 21st Avenue North in Myrtle Beach was very helpful. They smiled, even joked around a little, and never once made me feel like an inconvenience. I was in and out of the DMV with a new license in about 15 minutes. And my picture wasn't that bad either. Here's hoping your next trip to the DMV will be a happy one too!

I love going to the DMV nowadays..it has changed drastically over the past few years..

..and DMV women are almost as friendly as WalMart women..wink

You aint never took a bad picture a day in your life..who do you think you are foolin’?

I’ll tell you what gets me about this new DMV..it is the 10 year drivers’ license that they now issue..

Mine comes due again in the year 2017..my math aint that good..but I think I will be like 205 years old by then..

It’s nice to know you dont have to deal with it for such a long time..but it is a depressing thought..that this drivers’ license will outlast me..

I dont know why..but that thought always comes to mind everytime I get a new one..

I live such a simple life…:)
