NASCAR fantasy focus
I admit it I’m a fantasy sports freak.Whether it’s the NFL, NBA, Major League Baseball or the PGA Tour, I try to get my hand in as much as possible.
This year is the first year I have gotten involved in a competitive NASCAR league and I’m off to a decent start. I’m fifth out of a 16 teams.
So throughout the season, I will try to give my advice on what seven drivers to look out for and stay away from each week.
Also, I would like to hear your feed back on what’s going on the Sprint Cup Series so far.
Definitely pick ’em
Jimmie Johnson — Won three straight at Las Vegas.
Kyle Busch — Vegas native has been the hottest driver in any of the three series.
Matt Kenseth — Has average finish of 7.6 at Las Vegas.
Sleepers
Brian Vickers — Has made both races so far and is 11th in points.
Reed Sorenson — Was solid in Daytona and running well last week before an accident took him out of contention.
Stay away from
Kevin Harvick — Has finished outside the top 20 in almost half of his 51 races on 1.5-mile tracks.
Michael Waltrip — Average finish of 31.3 on 1.5-mile tracks.
