My review of Pink’s new album “Funhouse”

So, I’m a huge fan of Pink. Her new album “Funhouse” came out yesterday. I went to Best Buy during my lunch break to pick the album up. I have to honestly say, I’m not too disappointed with it.

Track Listing:
1. So What
2. Sober
3. I Don’t Believe You
4. One Foot Wrong
5. Please Don’t Leave Me
6. Bad Influence
7. Funhouse
8. Crystal Ball
9. Mean
10. It’s All Your Fault
11. Ave Mary A

I was honestly kind of scared with this album. I love Pink’s music very much and I will listen to anything she records, but even I have to admit some of her songs have bombed.

“So What” of course that would be one of my favorites because it is the first single from the new album and it has been out since August. This song is obviously about her relationship and split up with her ex-husband Carey Hart.

Track 2 called “Sober” is a great song. It’s a song about struggling with addition. My favorite lyric from the song is “How can feel this good sober?” and “I’ve heard myself cry never again.”

Now, “Bad Influence” is a total contradiction from “Sober.” The beginning of the song has this really cool drum beat then goes, “Alright sir sure I'll have another one it's early. Three olives, shake it up, I like it dirty (dirty). Tequila for my friend it makes her flirty (flirty). Trust me.” I love the music and the lyrics for this song. I really hope this will be her next single.

Two other songs that I really like are “Funhouse” and “Ave Mary A.”

The rest of the album is kind of hit and miss. Songs that I’m sure I will really grow to like because I don’t think they’re bad songs are “I Don’t Believe You,” “Please Don’t Leave Me,” and “Mean.” Like I said, not horrible songs at all, but I don’t think they’re as good as the others I previously mentioned.

The songs that I really can’t stand are “One Foot Wrong,” “Crystal Ball,” and “Glitter in the Air.”

“One Foot Wrong” reminds me of a song that should have been in the movie Blue Crush. I actually love that movie and have the soundtrack, but I just think this song is annoying for some reason.

I just really can’t stand “Crystal Ball” and “Glitter in the Air.” That’s all I have to say about those two songs.

I really love this album, but I don’t think it is as good as the albums Try This or Not Dead Yet.

I don’t like the music but I never miss the chance to watch her videos. She could have a voice like Scatman” Crothers and I’d still tune in. Pink is hotter than Sarah Palin. She hasn’t got Nicole beat but it’s close…real close.
