Morning Buzz: Your face is your password?

Welcome to Monday! Today’s buzz comes to us from KCBS in Los Angeles. The Toshiba company is building a new feature into it’s laptops that could make written passwords a thing of the past. This new software uses facial recognition technology to log you on to your laptop. That’s right, your face is your password!

You have to have a webcam for this to work. The software uses the webcam to scan your face. Then, once all the info is captured, you’ll look into the webcam to log on. I wonder what would happen if you have an identical twin?

It isn’t yet possible..using facial-recognition software alone..to identify differences between identical twins..

This technology is about as high-tech as a WBTW ID card...the picture looks like you..so it must be you..

Take Lyra...add a pony-tail and a moustache and I could get on her computer with ease…

She and I look alot alike..cept I’m cuter..wink

First of all you must of took Mr.Mookie up on His Goat ride offer...because you sure wasn’t on my Motorcycle this Weekend....and i take it you didn’t go riding with Wolf in his Dodge Caliber either according ot his last post Friday...Now as for todays topic.. all my password’s related to my Computer are set to Lyra.. So if you wont show up to ride my Motorcycle..Dont suppose you would Come to put your face in front of my Computer so i can acess It....This is the last Weekend of the Harley Bike Rally So C’mon Lets Ride Lyra!!! smile

She often does this when she is faced with the fact that I’m telling the truth about being cuter than she is..smile

Honest Injun...I have been close enough to touch her I know 10 times last December.....she has never even said hello to me..I didnt even know she could talk til I came to her blog..

But dont give up Bill C...she’s bound to give in soon and go riding with you..wink

Now i’m going to add some Ginger Chicken to the offer to Entice Lyra because i herd her say on air she liked it!!and see how it goes from there i would think it would be a sure thing from that point!! but from what your saying Wolf i might have my Bucket in a Shallow Well!!
