Morning Buzz: That’s not on the value menu
I never thought I’d see a burger more expensive than the one in New York City’s financial district that cost $175. But, Burger King (yes, Burger King) has come up with a $200 burger that’s being sold in the UK.So, how is this burger different than the whopper? CBS News reports its made from special Wagyu Japanese beef, it’s flame grilled, garnished with Italian truffles, Spanish cured ham, aged Balsamic vinegar, Champagne onions and paired with a saffron and truffle dusted bun. The chain says the cost to make the burger is around $80.
At least, the money from the $200 purchase prices goes to charity… which makes it different than the pricey burgers we’ve talked about in the past. Still, when presented with the value menu and a $200 burger, which would you choose?
