Morning Buzz: Sun-powered TV

There’s a “Zero Emission House” was on display as part of the G-8 summit in Japan. Inhabitat.com reports the 26-inch solar-powered LCD TV is powered by a thin-film solar cell panel. It’s made by Sharp, and the company has plans to distribute the TV and solar panel to areas that don’t have easy access to grid power.

The solar cell panel is the first cost-effective one that’s being mass produced by the company, and it would look similar to the TV screen itself. I’ll show you this TV this morning, then you can post your thoughts!
