Morning Buzz: Study says video games can help real-life learning
The Associated Press reports a study shows some video games may help your child perform better in school. Researchers with the American Psychological Association released a series of studies documenting the positive aspects of video games. Their report says one study of 5th, 6th and 7th grade students found that playing video games helped improve their problem-solving ability by sharpening cognitive and perceptual skills. Another study found surgeons who played video games were 27% faster and advanced surgical procedures and made 37% less errors than those who didn’t play the games. But, all the news isn’t good… some other studies found youngsters who played violent video games tended to be more hostile than those who didn’t.Thoughts?

If that’s the case. My 12 y/o will be a rocket scientist before the end of the year.
