Morning Buzz: Mid-day nap

Did you know 40 percent of Americans surveyed say they’re sleep deprived? Are you one of them? CBS News recently did an interesting story on the benefits of napping during the day. The report profiles s place in New York City called “Yelo” where people can catch up on some extra zzzzs. It’s a collection of high-tech sleep chambers that are designed to help you take a power nap by choosing everything from the color of the room to the music or sounds you want to listen to. They even tuck you in. The owner of Yelo says he thought up the idea while traveling for work and suffering from jet lag. He was always looking for a place to nap!

I’ll show you video of Yelo this morning. Do you think someone should open something like this in our area?

60 minutes for $150..and that is with your $25 savings..

Maybe if Nicole Boone or Matt “ No Man Should Be This Pretty” Lincoln was the one tucking me in..

other than that..I’m with Mel on this..I’ll just sleep at my desk..

That’s an expensive lil nap..smile

$150.00 an hour. No thanks.
I know hookers that don’t charge that much…..not that I need an hour. smile

I can sleep 10 hours easily…especially since summer is here, and I’m not working. Aghhhhhhh, the joys of being a teacher. grin
Naps, I never take them. But I am on the way to the beach, for a couple of hours of reading and tanning.

5 days of taking naps would stack up to $750 bucks a week…

With that kinda money..you could afford to lay out of work and sleep all day..

I didnt know that Moodettes could read or tan..wink

Wolf, there’s a lot you don’t know about the Moodettes. We are amazing! We can do many tricks. We can definitely read and tan. It was nice out there today. That’s why God made summers; so teachers could relax….aghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! LOL

Truth be known..I didnt know much about Smurfette either..but we went on to have a lasting and meaningful relationship…even tho she often times appeared blue..

She could turn tricks too..I think she had to tho..as she was the only female Smurf in the village..

I have never heard of much of a beach in the Charleston area..just sort of a coastline..but then we were there to work..not play..

I am glad you enjoyed it..you seem somewhat more relaxed..

I’ll look forward to learning more about the Moodettes…I think Mookie has a book on you guys…with pictures..

P.S. Did you wear a bikini?

You must not be from SC. There are a lot of beaches near Chas…Sullivans Island, Isle of Palms, and Folly.
Sure, I had on my thong…. grin  LOL

Naps are great, but do these people still get a lunchbreak as well?  I haven’t had a nap since 1989. My husband however, is quite the napper. They would have to bring in his couch though.

Wolf,
Maybe you had your thong on backwards.
The other blogging Moodette…
