Morning Buzz: Kitchen of the future

I have recently gotten into cooking lately, so this story from KCBS in Los Angeles caught my eye. It’s the story of “L'evoluzione” which in Italian means the evolution of the kitchen – not following any standard designs. The report says that cooking has turned from a one person thing to a social activity – where family and guests can be involved. And, these “kitchens of the future” reflect that. They also have energy-efficient appliances.

Wanna see if these kitchens are much different than yours? Take a look this morning, I’ll show ya sometime between 5 and 7. Then post your comment here!

Even sober..it is hard for me to imagine going to the mailbox and finding an invitation to the Manning House for a casual yet adventerous dining experience…

To my dearest Wolf,
Your presence would be greatly appreciated this evening at the Manning House. Renovations are now complete on my new and improved futuristic kitchen.

You will be expected to arrive prior to 6:00pm and enter through the servants entrance. There you will be greeted and introduced to an assortment of kitchen appliances. You will also be instructed as per your duties for the evening.

Chris Still will deliver a live weather forecast during this event. We will also be joined by Martha Hunn who will amaze us with her predictions on the political campaign. Afterwards Nicole Boone will grace us with a report on how healthy the meal you all prepared was and the benefits of flossing.

Please come with the frame of mind that you arent there to have fun, you are there to work so others can have fun.

I look forward to seeing you again.

Love Always,
Lyra Manning

I was with you until you said “Take a look this morning, I’ll show ya sometime between 5 and 7.“

My imagination got the best of me.  FWIW. It did include a certain kitchen utensil.

I missed the segment this morning.

A kitchen where all are involved is so cool. I spend soooooo much time in mine prepping, cooking, cleaning… and some company is always welcome, especially if they help!

Mookie… you’re so bad…
