Morning Buzz: High-tech restaurant

A new restaurant in Los Angeles is getting some attention for the way you order your meals. KCAL in LA brings us this story. It’s called U-Wink… and it’s a way to order your food and play games without leaving the table. Nolan Bushnell is the creator of U-Wink. He’s also the man behind Atari and the Chuck E. Cheese restaurants. He says it’s a fun way to place an order… then play the games with others at your table or even with someone across the room.

If you’re having trouble picturing this, don’t worry. I’ll show you video of this high-tech restaurant this morning. See you between 5 and 7. Then, I want to know what you think about this new creation!

I dont think this would suit me too well..

When I go out to eat..I dont believe that I would want to be playing games or interacting with people on the other side of the room..

I either want to have a nice conversation with my wife..or if we are with friends..discuss something that actually relates to us..instead of playing with a touch screen..

On the other hand I think Myrtle Beach needs a place like this…cause tourists thrive on spending a week or two doing silly stuff like this..and after seeing some of their prices…the place would be an absolute gold mine..
