No I’m serious..that is the response that should be foremost in our minds..but it isnt..

In 2006 a massive earthquake in Indonesia killed over 5,000 people and left 10 times that number homeless..this however was pushed from the news due to the birth of Shiloh Jolie-Pitt..Angelina and Brad’s daughter..

Now here we are 2 years down the road..doing everything we can to elect a new President..and that takes a side street to Britney Spears and her fall from grace..

I suppose gossip is more entertaining than real world news..and it gives us something to measure our own self-worth with..

Compared to Britney’s current situation..my life just couldnt be any better..

This is where it all comes to light..

How cool is that?

However being borderline pathologically obsessed with stars..I am supposed to thrive to be just like them someday..

Just for tax purposes..I have never made a nickel off of Britney’s tragedy..

I think we should be keeping our interests on a local level..

The closest thing that we have to the Britney story is Ashlee closing a door on her pinkie..

Now this happened in a TV station..and we got zero coverage on this..

I would have expected them to cut into the soap operas to report this..

..but no paparazzi..no mention on the gossip websites..I have even checked the tabloids..not one word..

I am truly disappointed in our local coverage..the poor girl had to bring the story to us on her own blog..

How depressing is that?

It’s just a matter of time for Brit. Unless someone helps her help her self it’s jail, institutions or death. She ain’t gonna make it.

I dont think that even death will keep her out of the headlines..

10 years from now I could get arrested for sitting on my back porch..naked..soaking my corns in peanut oil..and talkin’ to that bow-legged billy goat that my wife bought me at the Farmer’s Market..out by the Fairgrounds..

..and it would still be compared to poor Britney Spears..by the time it hit the news..

Maybe the fact that I’m not completely deranged has something to do with the lack of coverage on my pinkie, Wolf.  I didn’t purposely do it, so I am obviously not crazy.  It only proves that I am a bit slow to react to things.

If I were Britney, I would be running over someones foot and wrecking a few cars too. Since Kevin, Brit’s life has been lost to her. It is kind of like it all became one of kevkev’s dances, and more 15 minutes for Kevin. Uhhh why isn’t someone following that little lover boy around all the time with a camera shoved up in his mug? Who are Britney’s babies being cared for and loved by? It is just creepy some of the similarities of her (her mom’s)account and every day women out here, just really creepy and too real if you have experienced it for yourself.

Seriously, leave Britney alone. Since Kevin was banished she has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. I really believe this Lufti came in and did what the official papers say. Sounds like he had an agenda going into it,easy ti spot if you have been there yourself. He was also assisting in driving her to her death because I don’t know how much longer brit could have held on with the things going on. She would have gladly driven HERself over that cliff. I think it reflects badly on us, as a society.  Are we all so insecure and discontented with our own lives, that the only way we can substantiate the way we live, is to compare ourselves alongside the celebrities and their individual falls from grace?
