Morning Buzz for Tuesday 3/18/08 - Want a celebrity best friend?

How about Paris Hilton? A new MTV show will chose around 20 people to live in a house and compete to be Paris’s BFF (Best Friend Forever). According to the show’s website, you have to send in a video tape answering questions including “It’s hard to stay in the public eye. How would you maintain the limelight?” Hundreds of video applications have already been submitted. The winner will apparently get to be by Paris’s side as she attends red-carpet events and goes to celebrity parties.
This sounds more like a business partnership to me. What do you think?

I have had no luck contacting any one.  Your improvements at the station are great for everything except the live people.  You all are distored, as if you have been stretched.  Everything else really looks great.  Thought it was my television but it’s your show only.  I really hate it for you.

As far as being Paris Hiltons BFF,I dont think so.
A real best friend like my best friend Carolyn will listen to me when no one else will, was there with me and for me when our 3 week old grandbaby was having open heart surgery,when our Marine son was deploying to a far off land or just cause..
I doubt I could call Paris at midnight or 8 am = because I just had to talk to someone.I can always count on Carolyn to be there for me and she knows I am here for her to smile I doubt Paris would even talk to me but thats ok,I have the best friend any girl could ask for!!

Hi Paula.  It sounds like you have a wonderful friend.smile  I agree with you, friendships are so important, and I don’t know if a reality competition is the place to find your BFF.

Unfortunately, we can’t use the tv to help us find friends….even B.F.F.‘s! ( I don’t think I’ve used that phrase since 7th grade)

As for the Paris thing, it sounds like she’s looking for a personal assistant.

I wouldn’t dare let some stupid TV13 policy come between you and me.

I do think you should have your on reality show. Every morning I’d be at your door singing serenading you with “our song”.

Who has time to flit around with Paris? I work for a living and have no time to go galavanting with someone who does not work. My BFF work and we get together all the time after hours.
