Morning Buzz for 1/23/08 - Famous for a Day

If you want to feel like a celebrity, you can now pay for your own paparazzi to snap photos of your every move, according to a story from Time Magazine and CNN.
The article says Austin-based company “Celeb 4 a day” provides the personal paparazzi. However, if you want “fans” you may have to call in favors from some friends.

What do you think about this? Would you want the “paps” following you and your crew around for a day? What’s funny is, if you do, there would probably be some people who think that you are someone famous that they just don’t know of!

Let’s talk about this from 5 till 7. And, if you’re reading this, post a comment and let me know what you think!

I remember when I did this..

It costed about 500 bucks back then..but I didnt care..I wanted to see what it felt like to be famous..the closest I have ever come before was being a stand-in on Cecil’s World..but that only lasted until they told me to get out of the way cuz they was filmin’..

I rented a limo and even got a tux..and the wife an evening gown and a bunch of those fake diamonds..

We went to all of the hot spots on the beach and ended up at a swank eatin’ place in North Myrtle Beach..

Everything was going great…me and the fake paparazzi were discussing everything from my up-coming HBO special to the new music CD I was to release in the Spring..all of the lil hotties were eyeing me off..all of the guys were looking jealous..life was good..

Being that I was tied up with the paparazzi and answering all those questions..the waiter confronted my wife about what we wanted to order..

As if they had announced it over the loud speaker..she ordered us the “grits and sardine platter”..

The only two things left to do was tell the fake paparazzi “No Comment” and whisper to the waiter “That’s to-go”..

Wolf—It sounds like having fake paparazzi around can be pretty intense at times!  But, you handled it like a pro smile

Ted - I take it you won’t be buying this service anytime soon.

I agree Dave!

I dont know why everyone is acting like they cant relate to this..especially if you went to the Christmas party..

That paparazzi that was running around there..would take your picture every time you put a drink up to your mouth..

I still see lil dots and it has been over a month…

I keep checking the tabloids..I’ve been in them twice already..but that aint got nothin’ to with this tho..

Being famous is not all its made out to be. I rarely have any privacy. I would pay to have my picture made with Lyra and Melissa. Dem’ girls was da’ bomb this a.m.
I mean smoking. I drooled on my Pound Puppy pajamas.

Lyra..the fake paparazzi are nowhere near as intense as that clown was…

Man he was wired for sound..and LOUD..

..sobered me right up..

Mookie..HaHa I would have thought you’d have outgrow’d those jammies by now..

They did look good today..I do believe that is the best I have ever seen Lyra look..something’s different about her today..I was workin’ on figuring it out when they sprung that clown in on me..

I wont be any good for the rest of the day now..
