Morning Buzz: Bear breaks into store

CBS affiliate KKYV in Colorado Springs, Co has obtained some surveillance video of an unusual break-in. On Tuesday, a Black Bear broke into a Circuit City store in Colorado Springs – and it was caught on tape! Employees tell the TV station the bear was spotted outside the store looking through the glass front doors. Witnesses say the bear appeared to get spooked by police officers who showed up… and that’s when the bear smashed in the glass and tried to make a run for it. I’ll show you the video this morning, you can see the bear walking through the store and looking over the customer service counter.
The bear didn’t stay in the store long... it left after a few minutes. Officers with the Colorado Department of Wildlife searched the area, but we not able to find the bear.

It doesn’t look like anyone in the store when this happened, But, it’s pretty scary to think about what could have happened if the store was still open. After the show this morning, post your reaction to the video.

I saw the bear leave empty handed. I guess Circuit City didn’t have anything he needed or didn’t already have. Money wouldn’t do him much good either.

Did he break in with his bear hands?
He confirmed what most of already knew. Circuit City sucks.
