Martin’s win a popular one
I like NASCAR and would consider myself a fan but I really don’t have a favorite driver.But if I did, one of them would definitely be Mark Martin.
That’s why I was happy to see the veteran break through Saturday night with the win at Phoenix, which snapped his 97-race winless streak.
The win was definitely popular in the garage area as Tony Stewart, Jimmie Johnson among others stopped to congratulate Martin during his post-race interviews.
It’s hard not to like the 50-year-old from Arkansas. He treats other drivers with respect both on and off the track and is someone that has been able to adjust to the changing times in NASCAR.
So Mark, celebrate the victory you definitely deserve it.
