Florence Romney volunteer speaks

Mary Tepper, Mitt Romney's Florence County volunteer chairwoman, said before the debate that she thinks her candidate has the best chance of beating the Democratic presidential nominee.

"When you have a primary, it's a matter of good, better and best, and he's the best," she said while standing with a group of chanting Romney supporters who held their campaign signs high.

They were shouting slogans such as, "M-I-T-T! Mitt's the man for me!"

Tepper agrees with Romney's stances on issues including immigration and taxes. As the driver of a hybrid car, she also likes his support of investment tax credits for people who conserve energy, she said.
