I can't believe it my first-ever web blog post! I actually think it's a grand idea for reporters to publicly express their thoughts. I'm already in the habit of of writing out my thoughts- I've kept journal religiously since I was 11 years old and if you don't already, I encourage everyone to keep a private journal. Writing in it is very therapeutic and it's a good way to document how your personality evolves. Anyway, back to blogging-more than likely I will be using this blog to document how I feel about some of the stories I write. When I think about it, I wish I had had a blog some months back so that I could have documented how I felt about my previous stories like the Hamilton House fire, the Darry Hanna trial and so forth. This ends my first blog, hope you enjoyed it!

You have to have funny faces and words, you can’t just have words. It is a powerful thing, and I think that’s why it’s hard for people to imagine that women can do that, be that powerful.
