Is Stewart making a good or bad move?

Tony Stewart is phenomenal racing talent and a smart man. So, Stewart’s move from Joe Gibbs Racing to become a driver-owner at Haas-CNC Racing is something that wasn’t made without a lot of thought.
But is he making a big mistake?
The history of drivers becoming owners hasn’t gone too well lately. See Robby Gordon and Michael Waltrip.
Ricky Rudd was last one to win a race and that was almost a decade ago.
Stewart will have his hands full, competing with the likes of the Hendricks Gibbs and Roush, but he has shown he can do it with his World of Outlaws teams and he resurrected Eldora Speedway in Ohio.
It just might take a little longer and test Stewart’s patience but he is clearly in it for the long haul when his driving days are done.
I just want to know what you fans think about Stewart’s move and do you think he will be successful as an owner.
