I’m raising a comedian!
My four year old son's goal in life is to be funny, apparently. That and to have a rock band. Anyway, we went to a wedding a couple weeks ago where he was the ring bearer. Naturally, my husband and I sat up front so we could "keep him in line." Yeah, right. We sat there trying to smother the laughs as he made face after funny face just to make us laugh. Then he would turn around and pretend like he had done nothing! Did I mention he's only 4? And a total ham? This is an example of some of the crazy things he did while we tried our best to maintain a somber expression to no avail. I'm trying unsuccessfully to get the photo on here, but it just won't work! I'll be posting it as soon as the all-knowing "Web-guy," gets back from lunch. He is such a character! Since he was so funny about it, and discreet, : ) of course he didn't get into trouble. The photographer at the wedding actually got a few shots of him making the faces and the bride asked for him to pose while doing it in the wedding party pictures after the ceremony. All's well that ends well, I guess. Now if I could just figure out how to get him to use the carpet skates... Wait till you see these (, they are the coolest toy every invented. He got them for Christmas this year and yes, I have tried them out!
UPDATE: I just found out today that we general bloggers do not currently have the capability to add pictures to our blogs. The "Web-Guys" are working on it though. So in the mean time, here is a link to my personal blog, where you can see pics of all the things I tend to talk about. The entry titled Big Eyes is what he was doing at the wedding.
