Hello!
I’d like to take this time to say hello and introduce myself. I’m Lyra, and I’m the new morning and noon anchor here at News 13. I’m excited to be here and I feel so lucky to join this great team of talented journalists and make my home here in South Carolina.While I’m new to this area, I’m not new to mornings. I spent some time anchoring a morning show in Syracuse, NY and I was a morning reporter in Nashville, TN.
When you work in the mornings, the question you get asked the most is how do you get up so early? And I’d be lying if I said I didn’t hit the snooze button at least once every day! But once I’m up… I’m awake. I am a morning person by nature, so I think that helps!
I’m looking forward joining the morning team on Monday, October 22nd. I’ll be working with meteorologist Chris Still and a great crew! We’re going to keep you up to date with the latest news and weather, along with our new addition of live traffic cameras. We’re also going to have a lot of fun!
