Guitar Hero on Xbox Live

So last night I played Guitar Hero III online for the first time since I got the game. A former co-worker and I got together early in the evening to play a few rounds and later in the night, I got together with a current co-worker to play a few rounds. This was actually the first time I've ever played against anyone at this game and I found out I'm not that good.

About an hour after I got home from work last night my former co-worker, Janet, got online. We started chatting and then got into a match. I can't remember the songs we played, but she kicked my butt. We kept playing, and I even played her boyfriend, but I just kept getting my butt kicked over and over again.

Once those two left, I decided to try to get five stars on each song on the easy level so I can get an achievement. It took me a little while to get five stars, but I pulled it off... well, that is except for the song Raining Blood by Slayer. I spoke about this song in a previous blog. Getting five stars on the songs that I only got four stars on while playing it on easy wasn't an issue at all. I didn't take me too long, but that freaking Raining Blood song is crazy. I got three stars on it the first time I beat it, and I've still only gotten three stars on it.

Anyway, after trying to do better on that song, my co-worker Warren got online. In our first match we picked the same song to play, Miss Murder by A.F.I. I did horrible because I was trying to talk to my husband while I was playing the game and trying to talk to Warren. The second time we played it, I won, not by much though. Then it was on to the final battle and I chose Cherub Rock by the Smashing Pumpkins. We tied and then had to battle it out again and I pulled it off. I was the winner! Yay!

I also played a few matches of Halo 3 as well. I mostly played non-ranked matches, since I hadn't played the game in such a long time. I didn't want my skill level to drop any. I am still trying to get to a skill level of 40 in lonewolves, you know.

I'll be back online tonight as well. I completed Slow Ride by Fog Hat on hard last night. Wow, everytime an extra button is added it really throws you off. I spent about 45 minutes trying to beat the first song on hard last night. While I'm not playing online with my friends tonight, I will be working on my career in hard. If anyone wants to play a game of Guitar Hero III or Halo 3, I'm game. My gamertag is brokendownangel.
