Good Morning from Augusta
Like a little kid on Christmas Eve, I tossed and turned all night, trying to get some sleep before departing for Augusta. With this being my first Masters tournament, the anticipation of seeing Amen Corner, the magnolias' in bloom, and Tiger yelling "Not in my back swing," was all too much to rest on. I left Myrtle Beach at 3:15 AM and arrived in Augusta at 6:30,(Lets just say there was no traffic) and upon my arrival, cars full of golf fans lined Washington Rd. The sun hadn't risen just yet and still it looked like they had already tee'd off.
Walking through the square, nothing was open but the store, not only is the exclusivity of the course remarkable but so is their merchandise. Flags from every country being represented were flying in the breeze that swept through. Walking onto the course, groundskeepers were mowing the grass that still had morning dew on it. The sun was slightly breaking over the tree tops and from my vantage point, the course appeared to all roll into a valley.
The Players will hit the Course soon for practice rounds, and I will be out there as well. To make sure you all have the opportunity to get a glance of what is to come from Augusta National. The Par 3 competition is today, and once again Woods will not play. But most of the world's finest will take a crack at becoming the first to win the Par 3 and wear the Green Jacket in the same week. I will be updating this blog frequently, so please stop in and if you have questions or want to know something about the course, please feel free to ask. I will gladly find answers to all your questions. Also I have taken pictures and as soon as photographer Jimmy Moore arrives we will get those on here for you to view.

Try an egg salad sandwich.
Best you will ever eat.
