Florence Tonight: V-Day and Beyond

Blogreader,

I've been where some of you are. It's Valentine's Day and you were supposed to have planned everything out. Part of you wants to cop out and plan a "romantic evening at home" and play faux naif to your significant other's inclination that it's really just a cover up for your terrible time management.
Sometimes it works bl'reader. Most times, it doesn't.
Previously, I published a list of V-Day events in the Florence area for those of us not wishing to cruise I-20 or Highway 501 looking for a romantic evening, but now we come to the event horizon. It's Feb. 13 and you don't want to get washed out and hung to dry over the doghouse because plans just slipped your mind.
It's understandable.
In light of this, here are a few events around the Columbia and Myrtle Beach area that are built for those last minutemen among us who want to venture outside the Pee Dee for our romantic plans.

Ya’ll dont buy into all of this V-Day stuff..it is just another ploy to rid you of money that you dont have to blow..

Pay the light bill instead..she will be just as happy with that as she would any of these ideas..

If you will remember back to when you first met the old gal..2 beers and a burrito was considered romantic in her eyes..to the point of her even paying for it and leaving the tip…

Fake being sick this weekend and you will end up laying in bed watching cable and have her waiting on you hand and foot..

If you aint good at faking it..eat a can of Hormel hotdog chili and your stomach will do the rest..

C’mon guys…BE GUYS!!!!
