Florence Tonight: Last Legs of February

Bl'reader,

February is coming to fruition with local bands and local venues active and running.

New venue The Depot offers another choice in the weekend roster for things to do besides watch YouTube videos until three in the morning. It features What About Wednesday? tonight and Matrimony tomorrow evening.

Murphy's Lounge offers up Sideswiped tonight and Saturday, Marion's finest and the Carolina Entertainment Complex's house band.

Aroma Underground serves up another round of music to drink coffee to with M-T tonight and Sensor Hook tomorrow.

McDermott's Irish Pub goes back to the '80s with everyone's favorite cover guitarist David Whatley.

Apple Annie's is sure to attract a crowd with the South Carolina fusion firepower of Villanova.

The Music Hall welcomes The Eternity Quartet with a cover charge of $8.

Last chance for tickets to see the "Love and Laughter Tour" with Fantasia and Rickey Smiley at Florence Civic Center tomorrow night. Tickets are $50 in advance (only one more day for that, bl'reader, so hurry up) and $55 on the day of the show.

Don't forget about shag dancing Saturday at Anne & Ray's Gathering Place and Excalibur Lounge as well as Wednesday at the VFW Lounge.
