Fisch Tank: Get Cary’d Away

Greetings on a hot and humid day from the USA Baseball Complex in Cary, North Carolina. The Tar Heels just hit the field for practice. But before they did the players huddled around the computer waiting for their name to be displayed in the 2008 Major League Baseball draft. As they walked away, they were mentioning the Georgia and N.C. State game. "I hope we get (N.C.) State in the opening round in Omaha," said RHP Rob Wooten. So as you can guess, they're looking past the same Chanticleers team that beat them 11-4 at this venue in March.
