First Attempt at Blogging.

Write a blog?

I am not even sure what the word "blog" means. I had to google that one. I am beginning to wonder what I did before google. I guess back in the day, I learned how to look up information in encyclopedias- but I can guarantee the last set of encyclopedias I laid hands on doesn't have the word "blog" inside. So again, I referred to google. I guess part of me expected the "b" in "blog" to be sort of like the "i" in "ipod". No clue what that "i" stands for either. But anyway, after my trusty search engine came back with an answer, I now know that "blog" is short for "web log".

And then there's this whole part about a blog being a virtual diary. I probably shouldn't bring up the fact that the only diary I have ever kept lasted for about 5 days. And I think I missed a day in there somewhere. There were also those days that we would try to keep journals during our vacations to remember what we did everyday. I must admit, those were a good idea. In theory, they were a great idea. I am sure that my brother's and sister's turned out better than mine. But yes, I am all for writing down on a calendar what you did that day. Maybe a blog is a good place to do that, but I am skeptical about how many people would be interested in that.

So yes. I have a blog. I am not sure what that means or what it entails. But here is the first posting. Hopefully this time it will last more than 5 days.
