My first fall season in South Carolina

This is my first fall in South Carolina and I really can’t complain about the weather. Yes… it is a little chilly today. But, throughout the morning show today and yesterday, we’ve seen video of the severe weather pounding the Northeast and the Midwest – where snow is measured in feet... not inches.

I remember those days. I went to school and worked in Syracuse, NY, where scraping snow and ice off your car every morning was routine. And, while the snow can be pretty and fun for kids of all ages to play in… it can make for a tough drive to work.

I have lived in the South for more than four years now, and I must say I really do appreciate the mild weather in December.
