Dream Team
The e-mail came across our computers earlier today.Fellow blogger Jackie Torok notified the Media General convergence partners that Ric Flair, former Governor David Beasley, and Chuck Norris are scheduled to make an appearance with Mike Huckabee in Florence on Thursday.
Add this to the Norris-Flair-Huckabee appearance going on in Myrtle Beach also on Thursday.
This has to be the coolest--and in some ways, the oddest--group to appear together in these parts in some time...at least since Jeff Gordon, Cale Yarborough, David Pearson, and Bobby Hamilton drove exhibition laps at Darlington Raceway in the summer of 2004 to debut the new lights at the racetrack.
Will this "dream team" bring a win for Huckabee in South Carolina?
I am not sure, and I am sure as heck-fire not going to throw around political punditry on this fine blog site, but I just wanted to say that anyone who can bring together Chuck Norris, a former governor, and Ric Flair, deserves some attention.

Last time I saw Rick Flair he was promoting trailer houses over in Sumter..
After removing the flag from the state house..David Beasley was seen trying to syphon gas out of his push mower to put in his mini bike so he could go to the store and get a beer..
After Chuck Norris sang “ In The Eyes Of A Ranger”..it was all down hill from there..
Huckabee is surrounding himself with people that are sure to make him look like the best thing since Superman brand peanut butter..
Smart move..
