Don’t let frost make you late to work!
If you're like me, you have to be a work early in the morning which means you probably try to squeeze in every little bit of extra sleep you can and have very little time to spare when getting ready for work. Most mornings, you walk in to work without a second to spare, but you're still on time and all is good in the land of work. Then comes the morning you walk outside and your windshield is coated with ice. While it is a valid excuse for being a few minutes late to work, it's still no fun to explain to the boss and equally as annoying to scape the windshield. Well, take my advice and you'll never have to be late again. Well, not because of a frosty windshield anyway.Here's how it works.
The first and most important step is watch News13 to find out if frost is in the forecast tonight. If it is, place an old towel or sheet over the windshield being careful to secure it under the wipers. You may be thinking that it will blow off, but frost only occurs on nights with light winds, so even if it were to blow off, there would be no frost anyway. Next, remove the cloth and WAH-LAH...a frost free windshield!! It's that easy.
