It is slim pickens this summer as far as vacation. We have two young boys. Last summer we went to Hilton Head; Surfside Beach; Austin, Texas and West Palm Beach, Florida only because my husband worked for an airline and we could fly for free. He works somewhere else now, so it looks like it will be just Surfside this summer, with sandwiches and Ramen noodles. There isn’t much disposable income this year because of rising gas prices and its effect on the prices of every other thing in our economy we need to survive. We will visit the ocean and go crabbing this year as opposed to the touristy attractions that cost a lot money… and we’ll probably have more fun.
