Deadly Cocktail
Medical officials have now released the completed autopsy results for Heath Ledger. They are calling his death an "accidental overdose."
They say he had the following prescription drugs in his system at the time of his death: Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Diazepam, Temazepam, Alprazolam, and Doxylamine.
That's six different drugs, and here's what they pretty much do...Oxycodone is a painkiller, Hydrocodone is also known as Vicodin, Diazepam is commonly called Valium, Temazepam treats anxiety or sleeplessness, Alprazolam is known as Xanax, and Doxylamine is a sedating antihistamine often used as a sleep aid.
So basically, the medical examiner says he was taking a bunch of pills that effectively...did the same thing.
Nobody knows what he may or may not have been thinking when this happened, but everyone, and I mean everyone, knows that you don't mix that many different prescriptions.
Heck, I wouldn't even mix one prescription with another...who knows what can happen?
This is the same type of thing that happened with Anna Nicole Smith.
A medical examiner concluded that she died of an accidental overdose involving prescription drugs as well...and many of them were the same types of drugs.
She had sleeping medication and eight...eight...other drugs in her system when she died.
When are people going to realize that prescription drugs can be just as dangerous as street drugs?
Many have the same types of narcotics in them as the street versions.
Just because someone prescribes it to you, doesn't make it okay to abuse it.
I have seen first-hand the dangerous effects of people misusing prescription drugs. If you take too much, or mix them with other prescriptions, the results can not only be you losing your personality, losing your friends and family, but also getting into trouble with the law, and perhaps, even putting your life in danger. It's just not worth it....

Accidental? How can you put all those drugs in your system and not expect to die? Either it was intentional or he was a real dumba**.
