Comedian George Carlin died Sunday

America lost a great comedian Sunday, when George Carlin died of heart failure according to CNN.

I can remember watching Carlin with my husband when we were dating and having a timer set on my DVR to record any show he gave. I remember thinking he was the best part of the movie Dogma and that I actually agreed with a lot of the things he said under the pretense of joking.

Although I'll never know the details of his death, I certainly hope he passed with the same acerbic wit and good humor with which he lived.

I agree Jackie. Carlin was perfect as the cardinal. I loved him in that movie.

Mookie, that’s a mean thing to say. Have you ever watched an interview with Carlin? He was a perfectly nice man who just wanted people to question the world around them and come to their own conclusions - not to just blindly accept ideas that had been spoon fed to them since birth.
